It will leave grid-marks on your legs when you wear shorts.
Such a minimal, perfect ensemble--with white cushions, of course--would be as serene & as inhospitable as Bill Blass' sun-filled Sutton Place penthouse, where, apparently, the total lack of comfort was the point: nothing to encourage anyone to linger unneccessarily. Blass' flawless empty spaces always remind me of the New Yorker cartoon of the Pearly Gates, with a sign out front: "WELCOME to HEAVEN. Population, 7."
magnaverde- the fantabulous penthouse of mr. blass was absolutely the inspiration for my minimalist vision- one of the chicest spaces evah! excellent call on your part!
Sometimes I have a problem remembering people's names & I'm not so great with faces, either, but I never forget a beautiful room.
That chaise (but I'll settle for a pair of RJG's klismos chairs) has been on my wish list for many moons; but the longer I wait, the pricer it becomes. Well, I guess I'm just going to have to make Joel an offer. Have a wonderful week. Mary

So glad to hear people talk about the apt of Bill Blass which was pure perfection! Not to mention his country house.
