did you say sale? (sale on the avenues, this saturday!)

one of our favorite words is SALE, so we were excited when our freinds over at the avenues west hollywood filled us in on their annual district wide sale this staurday. some of our favorite home, fashion, and art retailers are jumping on the bandwagon, so we'd advise you to spend a lovely saturday strolling the avenues and maybe snatching up a bargain or two. wanna meet for brunch? ;-)

i heard a rumor... (domino REVIVED!)

domino's new splash page- it would seem they are gearing for a relaunch!

all those rumors about the late, great, domino magazine being revived seem to be true! just got the following press release, and on facebook, the long dormant domino magazine page is inviting peeps to follow them on twitter, and to "stay tuned for future updates!"

and now, rumored new market editor, matt sanders, has confirmed it all on twitter. will it be a print mag? online? monthly or quarterly or special edition? , adn the big question, will it be just like the old domino, or better, or worse? your guess is as good as mine, but ANY addition to to our little decorating-focused world is always welcomed! exciting stuff!

update- curbed says it will be special editions only, one scheduled for spring and one for fall.  i dunno- if they've hired a market editor, wouldn't you think it will turn into something a bit more frequent? wishful thinking? time will tell...
