perfect bench

one of maison21's favorite decorating tricks is to include a pair of benches or ottomans whenever possible- in living rooms by the fireplace, in entry halls tucked under a console or in bedrooms at the foot of the bed- they are versatile, portable seating, and work well as an alternative to a chair where space is short or a view would be blocked. chic and interesting versions can also be quite hard to find, so maison21 thought he'd share this perfect bench recently spotted at jayson home and garden website (based in chicago). love the finish and the fabric, so this little guy is ready to buy and use as is! neta bench, $895.00.

Fabulous! I've got my eye on a pair of lovely benches for under my console...am kinda hoping there will be a sale before I have to pay full price though...

Halcyon - You know these are Oly Studios - probably available in a few finishes - and lop off some of the price tag with your tax id. :)

mrs. blandings knows best (as usual)- they are indeed oly studios, and they are available in a yummy black as well!

maison21 - so sorry, dementia is setting in. I was at Kroger and thought I was at Piggly Wiggly. Just got a little turned around. Apologies to all!

abbt, i can't look at the picture of the stool without seeing a pooch now!

and mrs. blandings, for a minute i thought perhaps the dementia thing was all too true- when i read your response about piggly-wiggly, and stuff, it made absolutely no sense to me! luckily, you threw in "kroger" a name i recognized because they are the parent company of our ralph's market chain, and their private label brands often read "kroger" on the label. so i googled "piggly-wiggly" and found out it was a store too. what a crazy name for a supermarket!
