no pictures, no humor, no sarcasm, no irony, and certainly no gloating. just a small, quiet, hopeful, and somewhat tear-stained, yay.

ivy- i sure hope he can fallow through on his promises- at least some of them. gotta be practical about this- he's a politician, not a magician!
vamp- my heart is yelling YAY with caps, because i'm amazed at this positive and historic turn of events, but i don't want to yell too much, because there are still 48% of the american people who aren't very thrilled right now, so rubbing it in seems mean-spirited. i really feel it is time to stop yelling at each other and time to come together to face our challenges, and my hope for that is my lower-case "yay"- cautious and holding an olive branch...
Fingers crossed folks! Although, really, let's face it - anything would have been an improvement ;)
suzy- i don't know about that! i had visions of a certain v.p. somehow gaining the office of prez and making the last 8 years look like a pleasure cruise!
