save the date(s) for a real klassy event...

if you looking to klass up your home, you'll want to block out april 21st through april 25th, to attend a series of auctions featuring "An array of treasures from Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch". TREASURES! 5 days of treasures! we can't wait.

and we are TOTALLY buying an autographed auction catalog for $500.00 (we can't think of a sounder investment for our uncertain times than signed michael jackson memorabilia).

from the julien's auctions website:

Julien's Auctions will host a 7 day museum quality exhibition at 9900 Wilshire adjacent to The Beverly Hilton open to the public on Tuesday April 14th through Monday April 20th, the auction begins on Tuesday, April 21st and runs through Saturday April 25th.

Thanks for the tip, M21. But I fear my home is simply not klassy enough to house an artifact that once belonged to a king. I'll have to pass. Love the auction house's ad though - a single gilded throne, crown graphics, nice typography - I'm sure it was quite difficult to put together something so subtle to represent what must be an eye-popping collection. Is there somewhere we can see more of what's in the catalog?

Omigawd.....I am SO going to that exhibit and auction. So rare that you get such a peek inside the mind of crazy, even in LA. Thanks for the tip!

ivy, i'm so joking about $500.00 for a catalog. maybe if 100% went to his children's therapy fund...

tracy- the catalog is not online yet, unfortunately. i'm going to keep watch and do an update when it's available- i plan on being obsessed with this!

miracle miler- are we neighbors? maybe i'll see you at the exhibit- i can't wait!

chic- do you think animals could ruin this stuff? although the chair i posted is actually not so bad, i'm sure atrocities await!

paul- i really want the catalog too, but paying even a hundred bucks seems like too much- unless as stated, the proceeds go towards getting his children the professional help they will undoubtedly need...
