"future historians will marvel, that at the end of the fossil fuel era- even as oil was running out- the last few drops of crude were being wasted producing millions of hideous, land-fill clogging, cheap plastic holiday lawn ornaments" he thinks to himself as he stuffs a 100% polyester $9.99 doggy halloween costume into his red shopping cart, blissfully unaware of his own hypocrisy ...

Did you see any Jones-size costumes? I totally agree re wasting oil, air and landfill space on crazy plastic.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
LOL! They'll think of way to recycle don't you worry!
Very deep thoughts from a guy who's going to dress up his dog.
mary, i actually got mona the extra-large size, and while it's a bit big, it would be tiny on jones, i think- so no oil-wasting or land-fill clogging for you!
ivy- i hope you are right! the vision of thousands of foam skulls and nylon santas being ground up and recycled puts a smile on my face! ;-)
tracy- like hollywood actors/actresses often complain, just because i play a shallow bimbo on my blog, does not mean i am not deep and thoughtful in real life. you should see me with my glasses on, then you'd KNOW how smart i am... ;-)
