less then perfect

ya know how you look at some people, and think that everything is perfect in their lives, and comparing their life to your own, can make you feel slightly depressed and more then a little inferior? but then you find out their dirty little secret- like a hidden drinking problem or a bad case of obsessive/compulsive disorder- and suddenly you realize your own life isn't so bad after all?

thank you twitter for giving me that moment today- at least m21 doesn't live with serial killers:
"little bloody mouths"- i just don't know if i can feel safe around a martha stewart craft project, ever again... ;-)

Charming, just charming. It's nice to get a glimpse behind the curtain from time to time though.

You know she kind of enjoyed it.

something tells me martha didn't personally wash out their little bloody mouths. i'm sure she had someone on her staff do it for her.

paul- i know right? it did make me feel better, 'cuz i feel like sometimes i'm a little "TMI" at times, especially with the pets- but some things i hope i would never share...

millie- EXACTLY what i thought- i pictured her saying it with that little half smile/smirk she often wears!

tula- yes, i'm sure it was her little bloody mouth washer on staff who took care of the problem, but would that shock any of us? it's not like she really tweets anyway- did you see where she was on some show, being interviewed about how to use twitter? it was like she had never heard of it before "you just type words into the tiny twitter machine, and then those same words show up in twitter machines all over the world! it's like a miracle!"

still, i love her to death, and wish *i* had someone on staff to wipe unpleasant things off mona and richard...

SOoooo high maintenance! My cat washed her own bloody face when it caught a bird last week.

Pampered pooches those Stewart dogs.

I pretty much had this exact thought when I saw that tweet. Such an overshare Martha. Found myself wondering if it would be in her next homekeeping handbook.

She has talked about this kind of thing before on her website. She only loves the animals that sleep with her. (But god I love some of her craft ideas - elegant and classic!)

You know, I hate to say it but, I am sure, given the opportunity your own little darlings would do the same thing.

Oh my gosh...I'm dying laughing! Ha ha ha! I wonder if she'll post a Martha "how to" on washing little bloody mouths!

Yeah. Life in the city... you should have seen the imbroglio that resulted when Barrymore discovered a 'possum had illegally crossed his home's borders into the yard.

Policemen, neighbours .... ridiculous. I'm sure B'more was disappointed at not being able to dispatch the poor creature.
