happy endings (a nina update)

john, the good samaritan, who originally rescued nina and her sister when they were thrown out of a truck, forwarded me these pictures of nina enjoying her new life, and since i honestly believe that all the positive wishes and energy shared by everyone who read the posts about her plight, helped to find nina the most amazing home ever, i wanted to share them with y'all. not so shabby, right?

proof that 'happily ever after' happens in real life too, and i hope, like nina, each of you gets gets the 'happily ever after' you deserve in the coming new year!

I'm thrilled that Nina has found a "forever" home! Thank you SO MUCH for all the wonderful posts you do on animals, wild or tame. I don't have a heck of a lot of money to donate, but what I do have goes to my local SPCA.

Look at that! She is living a life of luxury! Good for her...she deserves it. She certainly looks happy. What a wonderful happy ending.

I would jump out of a truck to live there also!

Always remember to spay and neuter your pets...and to beat the crap out of people who don't! :)

Proof that its not where you start, but where you end up that counts. Good for Nina, and good for you too Christian. Happy new year.

What a happy ending - thanks for sharing. Based on the east coast, we are a bit strained in our ability to help, but our thoughts and best wishes were with Nina. a great story, and we are thrilled to see that Nina is enjoying life in "paradise". A very Happy New Year to all.

Thanks for the update. I'm so happy for the wonderful outcome. I, too, love your posts about pets. They really do bring so much joy and happiness into our homes, in my opinion even more so than any piece of decor, which says a lot from me since I'm all about home decor!

Ain't NUTHIN' like a happy ending!
It is why my husband and I work so hard at our rescue efforts. Changing an animal's life for the better is incredibly gratifying! Good for you, Christian and good for John! Nina is certainly rockin' that "lady of leisure" look! Happy New Year to you, Richard and Ted and anyone else near and dear to you. You have been a BIG bright spot in my 2010 in the blogosphere!

just came upon your blog via Splendid Sass. It is amazing how quickly our 4 legged friends can adjust to luxury. I recently adopted 2 mixed pitbulls, one had been attached to a fence during the hot summer for a week! When she saw my son walk by her cage at the local rescue shelter, she just smiled and stared...her name is now... smile ..they too love to lounge on the pool chairs but are frightened of the water. Animals bring so much love and joy into our lives.
