I - er - rather like them... oops, that might have something to do with the fact that I live in London though... ;-) Anyway, please stop by at my blog since I have a little something waiting there for you. Love from London x
Now now, I would love to get the challenge of designing a room around those chairs... might be fun... (smile) I see them in a large light filled loft with a wicked deep colour of pink sofa... black tables lean and low... weird over scaled lamps... interesting art over the sofa in dots of all the colours in the chairs... and then deep burg coloured sheers as drapery hung from the ceiling... My design teachers use to say...hate nothing, see everything as a challenge, because most clients will challenge you with something interesting to work with and you will have to have the imagination to do it proud... so when presented with something weird (the wall to wall carpet in shades of purple, burg and teal) the carpet I had to work with yesterday... I found the perfect fabric to go on the theatre seating for my clients basement... good thing to because they were going with a really sick green colour...I stopped that in it tracks. (that would have been a set of theatre seating that came back to the store... lol
if they were giving that away for free, i'd reupholster it, or spray it with black dye (bc i'm cheap like that). but yeah, def not something i'd buy. (or rather, i would buy it. but i would get yelled at later T_T)
"don't hold back- tell maison21 everything! (unless it's mean, then just keep it to yourself, k?)" hillarious!
maison21 is christian may, a los angeles based interior decorator with decided opinions about design. he'd like to share those opinions with you, to make the world a little bit prettier for the good of all mankind...
