maison21 wishes everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!
we've had an awesome 1st year blogging with y'all, and we look forward to sharing more fun and glamor in 2009!
images are two of maison21's favorite rooms of 2008- and by sheer coincidence, he designed them both!

OMG! The BEAUTY! If this doesn't end up in a publication somewhere, I just don't know what I'll do. You are quite a talent.

I love that you spent so much of your day taking care of William (read: stray dog that is in love with Mona....and who wouldn't be after all?) If we could we would. We promised Mom a new kitty from the shelter after the holiday hubub dies down a bit.

Best wishes for a Happy New Year!

mary-

i absolutely believe in defying popular predictions about 2009- i think it will rock too! (and i'll check out your blog).

chic-

happy new year to you too- i look forward to more of your work in 2009 as well! and yes, like i asid above, despite the dire predictions, i think 2009 will be most excellent!

katie-

thank you so much- coming from a talented fellow designer, that means a lot to me!

and please don't be naming stray doggie! i'm hoping someone else will name him and give him a home! ;-) bless you for adopting a kity for mom, too!

notting-

thank you very much! and happy 2009 to you as wel!

ivy-

happy new year to you, and thanks for your visitis this year- i always look forward to a cheerful ivy lane comment!

joni-

thank you so much! (see my comment to katie!) dining room photo i took a while back before the room was finished, and i will definitely have the entire house photographed at some point. we still have a few loose ends to tie up- like a gazillion rolls of cavern "blackbird" wallpaper to be put up in the stairwell!

thanks for visiting, and for corresponding during 2009- one of the joys of blogging!

Happy New Year!! They're both beautiful. Did you find a home for the new puppy yet?

happy to you too, meg! glad connor survived the fireworks! (we hardly had any racket here- it was tradition to shoot of guns here for years and years but as people kept dying every new year, a campaign was enacted to stop it. seems like it's working.

mimiee- thank you! happy new year!

mary- saw the perfect butt tree- if a tree were to look like my butt, it would be a straight as a 2' x 4', as i always joke that i was born buttless (tmi, i know).

suzy- thank you, and happy new year to you and costa & rica!

sadly, doggy is still at the pound, and doesn't seem to be doing well- pretty withdrawn (i've been checking on him everyday, and it's heartbreaking- sometimes won't even eat the treats i bring him).

if he's still there tuesday, the shelter hopefully has a volunteer coming in who can test him to see how he is around cats- if he passes, i'm springing him and fostering him here until we can find him a permanent home. poor lil guy.
