pie for a good cause!

project angel food, a great charity here in los angeles, is having a fundraiser selling thankgiving pies. each pie sold provides a free nutritious meal to five of their patrons struggling with HIV/AIDS, cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.

each apple, chocolate or pumpkin pie is $25 and comes in a travel safe box with an attractive project angel food label, along with a tent card for display noting your beautiful gesture of caring.

they don't ship, so purchase is limited to the local los angeles area, with pick-up on sunday, november 21st (9am-3pm), monday, november 22nd (10am-7pm), or tuesday, november 23rd (10am-7pm) at project angel food, 922 Vine Street, Los Angeles, CA 90038 (they'll deliver locally for free, if you buy 10 or more).

since m21 doesn't cook, this is a perfect way to bring a no-fuss dessert benefiting a great cause, to our family celebration!- we just pre-ordered chocolate and pumpkin!
